1000KV transmission line stringing equipment include 30 ton or 40 ton hydraulic puller and 2X70 or 2X80 KN tensioners.

30 ton or 40 ton hydraulic puller are used for 800KV to 1000 KV transmission line construction in China. 2X70 KN tensioner or 2X80 KN tensioner are also used.

It is suggested to use two puller with four tensioner for reducing the pulling force of pilot wire rope normally. So 30 ton puller is normally used with 2 of 2 X70 tensioner in the engineering operation.
